Rollercoasters pack the punch of thrill, but this time of year, it’s all about the haunts and boos. After a fun day at the theme park, why not extend your visit to fill it with screams and terror? We have the hookup for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida.
Halloween Horror Nights take place on select nights in September, October, and November and will frighten even the most horror-loving people on the planet. This attraction is not suggested for children under the age of 13 based on the intensity. This is a specially ticketed event that happens after the park is closed for the evening so separate tickets are required for admission. No costumes or masks are allowed for the event.
Since the event is usually pretty packed, make sure to leave enough time for parking and security screenings. We recommend arriving before 5:00 PM.
Beware and enter only if you dare. Halloween Horror Nights is home to 10 individually themed haunted houses. Within these walls lies scares, terror, and screams from your biggest nightmares. This year, the houses are themed around Netflix’s Stranger Things, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Poltergeist, Trick r Treat, The Horror of Blumhouse, Carnival Graveyard: Rust in Pieces, Dead Exposure: Patient Zero, Scary Tales: Deadly Ever After, Seeds of Extinction, and Slaughter Sinema.
There are also scare zones set up in the theme park. These dimly lit areas have thrills that await. While in the scare zone, there will be themes of Revenge of Chucky, Killer Klows from Outer Space, The Harvest, Twisted Tradition, and Vamp 85 New Years Eve.
Escape the terror for just a little bit as you take a visit to one of Universal Studio’s Orlando’s rides. Ride times tend to be quieter during the evening hours as the lines for the haunted houses are what the attraction is all about. Rides open include Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Transformers 3D The Ride, The Revenge of the Mummy, Fast and Furious Supercharged, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley, and Men in Black Alien Attack.
Universal Studios is also known for it’s creative shows. For Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Studios introduced a new show Academy of Villians: Cyberpunk. You’ll be treated to crazy acrobatics, dance, neon laser lights, and loud music all set around a villain theme. Definitely don’t miss it!
During the event, actors will scare you and jump at you but they are not allowed to touch you. Those who scare easily or those who have any type of heart condition are suggested not to attend. This is as real as it gets.
Through 365 Tickets Canada, you have the option to purchase tickets for an individual night that start at $85.58 per person or you can go as many times as you want with the Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights Frequent Fear Plus Pass, starting at $120.00. Save some money and get scared as many times as you can handle!
