She may have sunk to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean in the 1912, but thanks to the efforts of the Titanic Artifact Exhibition, now you can visit the White Star Line’s RMS Titanic in Orlando, Florida! The Titanic’s story, popularized by the 90s box office smash, is one that everyone knows. However, there is so much more to the history than just Rose and Jack’s romance.
Located in Orlando, Florida on International Drive, the Titanic Artifact Exhibition promises guests an experience aboard one of the most famous ships in history. You’ll even find pieces of the ship herself. The museum takes you back to when Titanic was just a dream on the shipyards in Belfast all the way to her infamous journey across the Atlantic.
Be ready to become a passenger on board the ship and as you make your way through the museum, you’ll find out if you make it through alive. The museum is not all about her famous sinking though, it will also teach visitors about the preservation and recovering of artifacts from the ocean.
While the physical ship might be at the bottom of the ocean, this museum has taken it’s time and recreated full scale replica’s of her grand staircase, a first class cabin, the Verandah café, and more.
A piece of Titanic is also on display, the second largest piece of her hull ever recovered from the ocean floor. The museum also offers guided tours by actors and actresses who are portraying real Titanic guests.
Home to thousands of artifacts, you’ll learn the real story of the passengers who were aboard titanic when you head to this museum. As you take in shoes, watches, photos, and pieces of luggage, you’ll put faces with names of those who perished on that fateful night in the Atlantic Ocean.
The museum is open every day, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM. Guided tours are available at the top of every hour and are included with admission. Head over to 365 Tickets Canada to get your boarding pass and tickets to many more attractions in the Orlando area.
